Most search engine queries, as reported by GUS, are long. It looks like GUS needs some sort of "wrapping" of those long texts so that the screen doesn't get wide and out of whack.

Time to either rewrite the links plugin or create an advanced links plgin that would allow for the following:

1. Site logo of the link being in the plugin.
2. Description of said site link to the right of logo with a read more link at bottom of description to a more details page of said link to include items 1 and 2:

a. Site name and logo
b. Site Address, street, town, etc,etc.
c. Phone
d. Hotlink web address
e. Coordinates for google street maps with extended info in the markers
f. Admin config options Google map usage optional
g. Admin config options to allow required fields to be filled in for individual fields. this includes web address to be optional.

There maybe other features that have not been thought of to include. If anyone else would like to add there thoughts to this, that would be great.

This is a feature request for whoever made or wants to pickup this and run with it.

0000863: Copy/Move config editor for one website to another website to save users and content

I would like to see an editor to be able to copy all or select users from one database with all the variables needed for that users to be able to function on a new website. What this would involve is being able to copy/move all content off of a site that has problems in updating but is still functional. Because it might be easier for an admin to fix their site by creating a new site and moving over the content and the userbase, leaving in all the hooks between the users and their ownership of the content.

This could be a great tool to have so that admins don't have to mess around with the database directly and potentially royally bone themselves in the end. This is not a tool like the glfusion rescue, rather one to incrementally move certain sections and content from one configuration website to another.

It could or should be made possible to build in safe guards so that unauthorized info cannot be stolen by verifying that both sites are in-sync with root domain names. Ex: http://www.example.com [^] and http://dupe.example.com [^] Then the admin can just make the needed config changes to the URL after the new site has been updated.

Does anyone think there could be a use for this type of tool for complex jobs. I know it would save me allot of headaches.

In Template::set_var(), when $varname is an array, the portion that breaks it up doesn't use the variable name when setting $nocache for each variable, it uses the original array ($varname).

It would be nice to give plugins an option to specify a URL to return the visitor to after successful authentication. This could be passed in $use_options to SEC_loginForm() and then checked in users.php before checking for HTTP_REFERER.

Really would like to see autotag support in the PayPal plugin. Product pages are the perfect place to have rich media from the Media Gallery plugin, for example a sample from an audio book we are selling. Or a link to an event that corresponds with a product.

...in plugins such as File Management and make it easier to recover from errors. Some software uses a red star to mark required items, for example.

The way it is now, for example, if you don't include a description in an uploaded file in File Management you get an error message and have to start over. It would be nice to not have to start over from scratch but for the information you've already added to still be there when you hit the "go back" or "continue" button.

Make required entry fields obvious by putting an asterisk or a different font or color on the field label. For example, the file management plugin requires the description field to be entered but there's no visual clue that it is required.

These visual clues are the norm these days.

Situation is that I want to "seed" the forum for a new site I'm building (to make it appear there are more users than me until I can get more). So I want to create a couple "users" to post some comments but the registered date may give it all away (10 new "users" joined today for example).

It's not a big deal - just don't want people to leave before they get a chance to see everything because they think the site is dead or if it was any good it would be bustling with users.

It would be very convenient to have this code included in the main distribution. This custom function simply returns the logo based on PHP code in the custom function. In my case I use it to return either a holiday or seasonal logo. The request is the addition of 4 lines of code in the lib-common.php file in the public_html folder.

Currently there's an option to delete the selected and all future events, effectively stopping a recurring event.

There should be an option to have edits apply to the selected and future events, e.g. to reflect a change in meeting location.

$_MG_USERPREFS['member_gallery'] isn't always getting set. This causes the phpblock_mg_maenroll() block to be displayed sporadically after the member already has created a member album.

See Additional Information for a modified phpblock_mg_maenroll() that displays the values of all the variables that determine whether the block is displayed.

The attached ZIP contains all of the templates for the lightash theme for glFusion 1.3. It was generated anew from the new GLF 1.3 nouveau theme templates and includes templates for the plugins filemgmt, forum, links, mediagallery, profile in the {site_url}/layout/lightash/plugins folder.

In ADMIN_list(), $_GET['orderby'] is examined to determine the sort column. However, the page navigation link is given "&order=" (~line 536):

$orderbyidx = COM_applyFilter($_GET['orderby'], true); // set - retrieve and clean
$orderidx_link = "&order=$orderbyidx"; // preserve the value for paging
$orderby = $header_arr[$orderbyidx]['field']; // get the field name to sort by

This causes the sort column to be lost when paging through the list. I believe that $orderidx_link should be given "&orderby=$orderbyidx"

When EXIF info is displayed below a digital image, exposure times greater than or equal to one second are all displayed as 1 second. In the attached image note that the photographer documented an 8-second exposure yet the EXIF info below the image shows 1/0 seconds.

Moderators and administrators cannot delete comments. After confirmation to delete the comment, the admin or moderator is taking to the comment entry form instead of actually deleting the comment. The new comment code looks for "delete" as a button instead of making it a case in the switch() statement. I moved the code from the if then elseif ... endif button checks to the switch with a 'delete' case and this is now fixed.
