| Summary | 0000836: Disallow Deleting Admin users | ||||||||||||
| Description | It should be impossible to delete the Admin user (UID 2) | ||||||||||||
| Additional Information | This request originates from confusion with the Group Editor by a new but not inexperienced webmaster. He created a new security group because we wanted to use this group as an email target for a particular Form (created in the Forms plugin). He noticed that in addition to all the users he added to the group, there were a bunch of extra users. Went back into the User Manager and clicked into the Group Editor but clicked on the "Group Name". This actually returned him to the User Manager but filtered by Group members. The Red Dash icon made it look like all he needed to do was click this to remove this user from the group. DISASTER! Admin got removed, content got dumped, etc.. we restored the system from backups but it was a difficult process. Would be better to remove the Red Dash icon except in a special "Delete Users" view.... | ||||||||||||
