| Summary | 0000838: Option to hide registered date... | ||||||||||||
| Description | ...totally or by user group. Situation is that I want to "seed" the forum for a new site I'm building (to make it appear there are more users than me until I can get more). So I want to create a couple "users" to post some comments but the registered date may give it all away (10 new "users" joined today for example). It's not a big deal - just don't want people to leave before they get a chance to see everything because they think the site is dead or if it was any good it would be bustling with users. | ||||||||||||

Why not just change the reg date in the database via phpMyAdmin or some other tool? While you can always just edit the template files and remove the reg date from showing, I think changing the date in the database would be a better option. |
